Avgvst is a distributed team based in Berlin, Paris. We strive to maintain our human connections while practising self-reliance, inspired by teal organisations. We welcome people who want to improve Avgvst, who want to do something meaningful and valuable — and who are willing to take responsibility for their decisions every day.
Designing "Jewelry for people who don't wear Jewelry" may appear to be a contradiction, but for us, it means setting a precedent. We love to experiment, to test our theories, to search for beauty, and to create meaning.

We are looking for an important person to join the Avgvst team — an SMM Lead responsible for our Instagram. We approach our social networks with love and artistic expression, not as just another "numbers" channel — there is plenty of creative freedom. You will be part of the Creative Department, meaning you will not only be responsible for Avgvst's voice in social media, but also take part in developing special projects, collaborations, and new products.
We are a small team spread out accross different cities and countries, so remote work is our norm.
What you will do:
— Develop a communication plan for Avgvst's social media;
— Write briefs for stories and longer texts for email newsletters (in collaboration with our editor);
— Coordinate all participants in the content creation proccess (photo, video) and assign tasks to designers;
— Publish content according to the plan;
— Suggest new content formats and regularly update/improve existing ones;
— Analyze platform statistics, draw conclusions, and present them during regular reporting sessions;
— Participate in Avgvst's special projects as part of the creative department. This means brainstorming, ideating, and diving into the internal workings of Avgvst.
What we value in a candidate:
— Initiative and independence – you do not need constant supervision, can identify new opportunities, and take responsibility for results;
— Organizational skills — you know how to create a content plan a week in advance, gather materials from all participants, and publish everything on time;
— Understanding Avgvst's tone of voice;
— (Self-)irony, a light writing style, and the ability to "wink" at readers;
— Ethical and aesthetic radar, sensitivity to the social context and environment.

Avgvst Jewelry is a Berlin-based independent demi-fine jewelry brand.
Jewelry for those who do not wear jewelry - Avgvst designers see jewelry not as decoration, but as a tattoo – one that makes a statement about what matters to its owner.
In 2023, we opened a flagship store in Berlin (Mitte), which features a jewelry store, tattoo studio and a secret garden.
We are looking for a part-time Sales Assistants to join the Avgvst team at our flagship store in Berlin.
Main Assignments
- Welcoming and guiding customers through a smooth customer cycle tending to all details and providing them with the best-in-class client experience
- Create and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Reach sales targets and other company KPIs
- Maintain high quality administrative procedures (including, but not limited to: stock taking, organizing, cleaning and merchandising products)
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous customer-facing role within the retail or hospitality industry
- Fluency in German, English
- Unconditional love for people and acceptance for everybody’s right to be different
- Sense of taste, tact and passion for beauty
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with your working schedule
- Driven with a desire to develop and thrives in a feedback-oriented environment
- Communicative and a team player
- Sense of humor and self-irony
